PROJECT SCOPE: SOCIAL, EVENT CREATIVE, PRINT, PAID MEDIA, CRM/EMAIL, LANDING PAGES, LOWER THIRDS, WALK ON GRAPHICS
ROLE: CREATIVE LEAD + ART DIRECTION

Yahoo Finance has been rebranded and completed a complete overhaul to their product. This event coincided with the release of these new features. This was the first year for this event and I needed to create a design system and toolkit that could guide production, event, broadcast and motion partners as well as future designers. This one day event in NYC brought together the top minds in finance, business and entertainment to discuss the state of our economy. Creative needed to be scalable for 150 people in person and millions of live streams across our channels and on social.

The design system includes 3 financially inspired shapes that build, break apart and connect to one another. Each ladder back to a specific pillar from the brief and ties directly back to the event topics: engage, diversify and gain insights. The event was held at Moonlight Studios in NYC, equipped with a state-of-the-art XR stage and many digital screens. This provided us the opportunity to bring this to life through motion and to successfully create the premium and elevated rebranded feel of Yahoo Finance.
