Yahoo News wanted to position themselves at the center amongst a plethora of issues leading up to the 2017 midterm elections. The app discussed multiple sides to an issue, helping people to feel better informed. Purple is Yahoo’s signature brand color and so our concept was simple, yet clever:
RED + BLUE = PURPLE
Overall, it got people talking about Yahoo News again as we saw a big jump in app conversions.
