In conjunction with the creative development of Build It: The Game, we created a design system for use on digital assets and across the various videos created for the game. The design system was originally built to be used across event graphics as well, but with COVID-19, we were required to pivot to a fully digital experience.
I was specifically responsible for developing the initial system which tied headlines that represented our customers to the connection they have with a specific brand. A series of colors and lined shapes represent each product the headline is speaking too. We then simplified the look/feel to work on video openers, interstitials, lower thirds and internal communications. Working side-by-side with our video team, we created fun animations that kept in tact the look/feel of Build It’s past but pushed us forward into the futuristic lens of NextGen Technology.
