ROLE: ART DIRECTOR
This cross-functional campaign for Black History Month 2021 was all about MAKING SPACE FOR BLACK VOICES. This was one of those amazing projects where we were fueled by passion, collaboration and most importantly, where marketing could stand up, ask the questions and ultimately drive a re-brief so that we were creating the right type of campaign.
Inspired by textiles, Black artists and past movements, we ultimately developed a hand drawn pattern using BHM as the base. We developed a toolkit and style guide that was used across social, video, a live event, influencer posts and more.
We also partnered with artist Janel Young to takeover the Yahoo logo. You can read more about her inspiration here.
